The multinational retail brand AKI, part of ADEO Group, decided to change the way they manage people in stores and bought sisqual suite maxptro-hr to do it in a more effective way. AKI, started operations in 1989 and has already 27 stores in Portugal, a total of 1,400 employees, and more than 20,000 products.
AKI expects to achieve a better schedule planning in compliance with labor laws and hence to reduce both costs and the turn-over through better quality of life for employees and managers. This should also translate into better customer service, and total real-time visibility of who is or who is not working, and where, and why. Sisqual maxpro-hr is expected to improve the allocation of team members between nearby stores to accommodate temporary shortages. Besides this, the current use of sisqual salary-calc which automatically calculates all salaries and exports them to the payroll solution (Meta4) is also currently being implemented by Sisqual. Such will dramatically reduce the cost of payroll process.
